🧑🍳 Recipe: Roasted Phool Makhana with Ghee & Spices (Fasting Snack)

✅ Ingredients:
- 
Gajanand Phool Makhana – 1 cup
 - 
Ghee – 1 to 1.5 tbsp
 - 
Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) – as per taste
 - 
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
 - 
Optional: Cumin powder – ½ tsp
 - 
Optional: Red chili powder (for non-fasting days) – a pinch
 - 
Curry leaves – 4–5 (optional)
 
✅ Instructions:
- 
Heat Ghee:
In a pan, heat ghee on low flame. Add curry leaves if using and sauté for a few seconds. - 
Roast Makhana:
Add Gajanand Phool Makhana to the pan. Roast on low flame, stirring continuously for 6–8 minutes until they become crisp. - 
Add Spices:
Sprinkle rock salt, black pepper, and cumin powder. Mix well so the makhanas are coated evenly. - 
Serve:
Let them cool slightly and enjoy warm! Store extras in an airtight container for up to a week.
